Values
Veridis is based on the ideal of positive impact through science and technology. Our founding team has been motivated to make the world more sustainable even before we started the company. Recognizing that plastic recycling is incredibly complex and challenging, they decided to combine their physics, engineering and business knowledge to develop novel tools to improve the process.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Veridis is dedicated to the United Nations sustainable development goal 12 Responsible consumption and production with our core business aiming to increase and better plastic recycling. To this end we include the following sub goals in our strategy

Sustainable management and use of natural resources
We want to close the plastic loop by making it possible for plastic recycling to be more profitable and reducing the amount of plastic waste streams that end up in landfills and/or are being burned. In the future we also aim to step into other markets, like battery recycling, to push towards a more sustainable future and circular use of natural resources.

Substantially reduce waste generation
We will aid in the reduction of plastic that ends up as waste by making recycling more profitable and hence more attractive for both consumers and companies.

Promote universal understanding of sustainable lifestyles
Our product will obtain a huge amount of data about recycling streams and might be able to detect common contaminants, ineffective waste streams and more. This information will make it possible to better understand the smart choices when it comes to waste management, sustainable material and sustainable lifestyle.
